French Street is a unique collection of French resources designed to support teachers, students and parents. This one-of-a-kind database provides French activities, programs and more that will enhance the French Second Language (FSL) experience in the classroom and in the community. French Street is another milestone in CPF’s efforts to build awareness and understanding of Francophone culture through active participation in community activities all around us. It was developed and is maintained by Canadian Parents for French (Ontario).
For the first time, educators have access to an easily searchable database to source a variety of opportunities to help engage students as they learn French in a Core, Extended or Immersion program. The site allows individuals to rate the experience and share with others. Apart from the expected information of museums and galleries, the site also features a list of guest speakers and entertainers who will bring French to life through a variety of interactive art forms. There is also valuable information on student exchange programs in and outside the country, as well as work programs.
We’re here to support teachers, students and parents and you can help!
A volunteer organization with over 20,000 members, Canadian Parents for French is reliant on contributions to continue providing valuable resources like French Street.
