Students of the Winnipeg Art Gallery

SoWAG (Students of the Winnipeg Art Gallery) is a series of events organized by students who actively engage youth in the art world at the Museum of Fine Arts and beyond. The goal of the program is to create an inspiring space for students to connect, share program ideas and participate in events that showcase and support the creative potential of the next generation of artistic leaders.

Join us for career symposiums, art creation nights, portfolio building workshops, and more! Events are FREE and open to anyone with a valid student ID card from a high school or post-secondary institution and a student ID from WAG.

School programs

School programs at WAG encourage critical thinking using conversation, drawing, writing, as well as interactive activities and learning based on current exhibitions. The half-day and full-day programs support the visual arts, natural sciences, humanities, mathematics, French and English programs.
