Les Jeunesses Musicales Canada

Jeunesses Musicales Canada is a member of Jeunesses Musicales International, whose network spreads 5 continents, making JMI the largest youth music NGO in the world. Jeunesses Musicales Canada offers chamber music concerts and concerts and workshops for young audiences.

As for chamber music, the JMC presents concerts every year in Quebec, the Maritime provinces and Ontario. These performances are performed by emerging Canadian musicians, between the ages of 18 and 28, the goal is to convey their taste for music by offering guided concerts in a friendly atmosphere. These same concerts are presented in a series entitled Concerts Apéro at Salle Joseph-Rouleau, Maison André-Bourbeau, JMC.

For young audiences, the JMC has concerts and music workshops that are offered to elementary schools, preschools, and presenters. These shows are intended for a youth audience from 3 to 12 years old. These concerts are also presented at Salle Joseph-Rouleau of Maison André-Bourbeau of the JMC as part of two series. First, the Escapades musicales, offered at the CPE, daycares and schools, and the Concertinos famille, offered to the general public.
