National Canadian Film Day (NCFD)

National Canadian Film Day ( NCFD ) is an annual event held in communities all across the country to celebrate Canada through Canadian film. It’s a time to sit back in your seat, take off your toque, and have some fun! Film selections vary from location to location and some films are screened in French suitable for the ages advertised.  National Canadian Film Day is presented by Reel Canada and supported – without apology – by Cineplex, CBC and a host of film festivals, movie clubs, schools, broadcasters and industry organizations. Many screenings are free of charge, while some are ticketed events. Visit the website for further information including location details.

NCFD is one of three programs that REEL CANADA, a non-profit organization that celebrates Canada through film, organizes throughout the year.
